Mr. Munro focuses his practice on family litigation involving high asset division of property, spousal support, paternity, child custody, orders of protection, guardianship, and bullying. Mr. Munro’s background in psychology is a tremendous asset in reviewing psychological evaluations and assessing mental health issues that often arise in family law matters. A significant portion of Mr. Munro’s practice includes helping individuals and families investigate and pursue their options when their child or loved one is the victim of abuse, negligence, or harassment.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Munro worked for five years in a family business as a concrete plant manager, overseeing approximately 15 teamster drivers as well as day to day operations. Having experienced the responsibilities of business management, Mr. Munro is uniquely situated to understand and evaluate complex business issues that arise in family law cases.
Ryan L. Munro graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008 after receiving a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Architectural Studies from the University of Kansas in 1999. Mr. Munro has been a certified guardian ad litem in Missouri since 2011, served as a member of the board at the Fathers & Families Support Center, and was appointed in 2017 by the Governor as an attorney member of the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board and currently serves as the board’s chair. He is also a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the St. Louis County Bar Association, and the St. Charles County Bar Association.
